A billion mouths has India to now feed,
And provide them with all that they may need;
To shelter, clothe them- what a great number!
And showing them the way to good slumber!

The Sun bestows its light during the day;

Why should I be a slave in my own land?
How can I run away God, fetterly?
Do I deserve this kind of reprimand?

She trod on earth, much slippery and loose;
She walked barefoot on gravel that hurt her;
She did wrong things and appeared like a 'Goose',
She thought life's joy was flying like feather.
