My Baby And I

My baby and I by the lake,
Out here on a fine summer like day,
And even though it seem like spring,
She makes seem like its nothing to me,
The sun cannot be compared to her beauty,
Nor can the stars in the sky,
So let us not fall behind
In the love that we feel so blind
But let us not lose our sight
Of how on that chilly October night
We came to be you and I
And how fast these 6 months have gone by
But when we start to forget and argue
I always know something we can do
Go back to the that time a few months ago
When everything was easier to come and go
But as everything gets harder and harder
We must fight to stay together no matter how deep the water
So as write and you read now
I hope think of me and smile
But you don’t not than I failed
And I have to try again having to make an appeal
One for your love to never leave me
For all the other guys with which I compete
I know I do not have much to offer to you
But the best I have you can have it too
Though the one thing I give you is my final love
Something no one else on earth or above
Wants this cause they do not know how
To love the way you do cause when you’re around
I am so high my feet never on the ground
But all I need is you to feel safe and sound
So please hold me tight and never let go
Cause without you I have no one nowhere left to go
But when you read you’ll be awhile
But remember I love you and always want you to smile.
