Tears

Time is always
Slipping through my fingertips
So much to do
So much I can't skip

Snow softly falling
To the ground
Where's the grass?
It can never be found
...

Flowers blooming
Almost everywhere
The sun shining
With its bright stare
...

Is that really me?
Or someone I don't know?
Where's the real me?
The side I usually show?
...

The wind roaring outside my window
As I sit quietly safe inside
This horrible, black weather
Makes me want to run and hide
...

Sharp lead in a pencil like
Bunched up feelings in me
What does it take
To get back this glee?
