Locked Inside

I am locked inside.
I wonder what is feels to be a normal child.
I hear the other kids play.
I can only see the four walls that surround me in this hell house.
I want things to be the way they used to be.
I am locked inside.

I sometimes pretend to be free.
I feel scared and alone like no one understands me.
I touch the tears running down my face and the blood from my wrist.
I worry that one day they will not find me.
I cry myself to sleep.
I am locked inside.

I understand that i am not perfect why wouldnt you?
I say i dont care when its all i really care about.
I dream that one day you will find me.
I try not to worry about the future.
I hope that one day i can be free.
I am locked inside.
