Who worked to form man?
A man born blind will see,
While others say,
"A sinner born that way".

The placid sea
When I a prisoner bound away
In a ship on the sea
From the sound, before the deep

In design all is spent
And woven like a tent
In the fabric
A tale is spun

Born Blind

Who worked to form man?
A man born blind will see,
While others say,
"A sinner born that way".

Jesus spat upon the earth,
And gathered up clay.
For eyes blind by birth
Dust in spittle plied.

Hands with clay anointing,
A touch redeeming
Along a dusty way
On that Sabbath day.
