Hello everyone! I joined this site today in the hopes that I may find what I'm looking for. I'm not sure if this particular forum is the proper place to post this but I'll give it a shot. I am a fan of Natalie Cole and there are 2 songs that I'm looking for to add to my Karaoke collection. I realize that not every song makes it to karaoke but I'd like to see if anyone can help me. I having been looking for sometime now to find either of these songs for karaoke 'Starting Over Again' (this was sung on YouTube via karaoke format so I know it has to be available somewhere) The other song was recorded by Patti Page also entitled 'With My Eyes Wide Open I'm Dreaming' If anyone can help me find either of these songs I would sincerely be grateful. Thank you. mrpete1939@yahoo.com

A Song 4 Him by me, Genesis Learny
Chorus:
You're loving me
You're inspiring me
You adore me
I can assure thee
That you console me
Would do anything for me
Verse 1:
The world wouldnt be the same
Without your kisses and your touch
If you broke away it would be too much
For me to handle
I wouldnt eat
I wouldnt sleep
If U ever left me
All the things that I desire
Would be gone right before me
And I cant imagine me without you because baby
Chorus 1x
Verse 2:
I look into those eyes
And my whole world lights up
You send shockwaves up and down my body
Yeah this is electric love
Were blowin fuses
And Im amused
It gets better and better as time slides by
And I cant imagine me without you because baby
Chorus 2x
Bridge:
We got that good love
That mighty good love
Cant nobody do it better
Cause this is our love
I said we got that good love
That mighty good love
Cant nobody do it better
Cause this is our love
Chorus 2x

Dear Forum users,
I'm not sure if this is the right forum but by looking around I couldn't find a particularly fitting place for my question.
I'm a swiss-italian hobby musician/songwriter. I think I can do quite good songs but I'm miserable in writing songtexts...
It would be very nice if I could write such songs like John Lennon's Imagine, but unfortunately my mother language is italian and not english.
That's why I would like to ask for your help: I'm looking for somebody who could help me to write down the lyrics for my songs.
Somebody who is able to translate my feelings and toughts (and also some raw draft text) and that he could make a good lyrics text from it.
So, is there a poet who is interested on the job?
Nice Greetings,
Davide.

For a lyrical and poetic album you have to listen to Owl City's Ocean Eyes. Its amazing.
Then there is Revelry and Cold Dessert from Kings of Leon. Love those! The rhythm and beat is hypnotic at least it is to me!

New Moon Rising
by Wolfmother
And the fields are turning
And the temperature's a rising
I see the factories are burning
When the wheels keep a turning
Well I've seen that you've grown know
With the horses you ride
Gonna have your say now
See the new moon rising
Oh she don't mind, she got the time
I see the new moon rising
Oh, she don't mind, she got the time
I see the new moon rising
See the small time boy now
From a small town family
He's got to find his way now
Gotta find himself a woman
Well he's scared of the people
He don't wanna be thw whipping boy
But the time has come now
Gotta hit the highway
Whooooaaa whooooaaa
Ooooh she don't mind, she got the time,
I see the new moon rising
Oh, she got the mind, she got the time,
I see the new moon rising
See the new moon rising
When the tides are turning
She got the look of the knowing
She got the feelings to showing
With all that love now
I see the fears are turning
I see the new moon rising
I see the new moon rising
Oh she don't mind, she got the time,
I see the new moon rising
Oh, she don't mind, she got the time,
I see the new moon rising

Rapture by Hurt? Amazing! It's eloquent, and powerful.
http: //www.youtube.com/watch? v=-tIzy74WkA&feature=related
In the life of the wrong a love lingered on,
Love lingered on to frustration.
And if our love is so wrong, what should we do alone?
Or am I just a picture in a photograph?
Why are we stuck in this pantomime fearing a god who died?
One who would not deny lovers?
And I don't care what they say, if what you need is your faith,
Then take a look at my face and know
That till your rapture falls to pieces
Until your rapture falls to pieces
Find in me the room to breathe,
Simple things like suffering
Life had gone this way
Life is gone this way
Still in the life of the wrong we all moved along
Another life evolved to gestation
And so she made her way with the mistake we made
But she was still a picture from a photograph
So she walked in the baby's room
Knowing what she should do leaves me in
Absolute horror
She put her hands on its lips and gave it
One last kiss
And sang some tune that went
Until your rapture falls to pieces
Till your rapture falls to pieces
Find in me, the room to breathe,
Simple things like suffering
And I would and I would destroy your god
Yes I would if I could destroy your god
Because you're born again
Until you're worn again,
Find in me the room to breathe,
Sinful things are suffering
Till your rapture falls to pieces
Till your rapture falls to pieces
But, this must be, then burn with me
Anything
Just don't leave
So find in me room to breathe
Sinful things like suffering
Till your rapture falls to pieces
She swore she heard the voice of Jesus
Telling her it was wrong to keep it
And one more thing, it looked like me
Back when it breathed
Rest in peace
Until the rapture comes to meet us

Certainly are extraordinarily powerful lyrics. Jesus has a lot to answer for, in this scenario. Welcome to music we like. Smiling at you Tai
