    A prize of $1,000 and publication in the Spring 2014 issue of Georgia Review will be given annually for a single poem. The editors will judge.     A prize of $5,000 is given annually for a second book of poetry by a U.S. poet. Copies of the winning book are purchased and distributed to approximately 5,000 members of the Academy of American Poets. U.S. publishers may submit four copies of a manuscript that has come under contract and will be published by June 1,2014, by May 15. There is no entry fee.     Three prizes of $10,000 each are awarded annually to honor a book of poetry, a book of fiction, and a book of creative nonfiction written by U.S. writers and published in the United States during the eligibility year. Five finalists in each category receive $1,000 each. Publishers may submit an entry form by May 15. Books, bound galleys, or bound manuscripts published or scheduled for publication between December 1,2013, and November 30,2014, should be submitted to the judges and to the National Book Foundation by July 1.     Awards of $15,000 each are given annually to women and transsexual, transgender, genderqueer, and Two-Spirit poets, fiction writers, and creative nonfiction writers in the Philadelphia area who have been creating art for social change for five or more years. Writers who have lived for at least two years in Bucks, Camden, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, or Philadelphia counties, who are 18 years of age or older, and who are not full-time students in a degree-granting arts program are eligible. Writers may submit an application by May 15. A panel of community-based artists will review applications and invite selected poets and writers to submit work for the second stage of the application process. There is no entry fee.     Two prizes of £5,000 (approximately $8,354) each and publication in the Bridport Prize anthology are given annually for a poem and a short story. A second-place prize of £1,000 (approximately $1,690) and publication is given in each category. A prize of £1,000 (approximately $1,690) and publication is also given for a work of flash fiction. Liz Lochhead will judge in poetry, Andrew Miller will judge in fiction, and Tania Hershman will judge in flash fiction. Submit a poem of up to 42 lines, a story of up to 5,000 words, or a short short story of up to 250 words by May 31.
