    Campbell Corner Poetry Prize

    Deadline: 15 March 2014
    Prizes: $3,000, reading, and publication
    Fee: $25 to Sarah Lawrence College

    Poems: Entries that treat larger themes with lyric intensity are especially welcomed. Winners are invited to give a public reading at the college. The poems will be published in the Poetry Contest Section of the Sarah Lawrence Language Exchange. Omit author's name on manuscript and include a cover sheet with name, address, phone, and e-mail. Maximum length for submissions is 20 pages. Entrants must submit their poems in three printed copies. The entry fee is $25; checks should be made payable to Sarah Lawrence College. Previously published work is accepted, but when and where published should be noted on the cover sheet.

    Three prizes of $1,500 each and publication in Gulf Coast are given annually for a poem, a short story, and an essay. Rachel Zucker will judge in poetry, Andrea Barrett will judge in fiction, and John D'Agata will judge in nonfiction. Submit up to five poems totaling no more than 10 pages or a story or essay of up to 25 pages with a $23 entry fee, which includes a subscription to Gulf Coast, by March 15. The 49th Parallel Poetry Award is given for a poem or group of poems of any style or length; Kathleen Flenniken will judge. The Tobias Wolff Award for Fiction is given for a short story; Shawn Wong will judge. The Annie Dillard Award for Creative Nonfiction is given for an essay; Joy Castro will judge. Using the online submission system, submit up to three poems or a story or essay of up to 6,000 words with a $20 entry fee ($10 for each additional entry) , which includes a subscription to Bellingham Review, by March 15.
