Poetry Contests

Hi, I want to say that I sort of won a poetry contest at my school before...I got 1st place for my art on my poem entree and was recognized for it...My friend, Kylie, got 1st place for her poem and she got a 100$ gift card from WALMART. I got my art published in our school newspaper, had it on the video announcements and was announced as the best artist in the school on the announcements that morning. My Poem was this:

Sunshine

Sitting at home in my bed,
Watching as the glowing fire
Comes through my window.
I lower my eyes,
Dreaming of the flowered feilds outside.
As I look up, I see a sparkling rainbow
Dancing as a diamond charm
Swirls over my head.
