Relationships and Love

Hello I'm new to writteing and iv posted 4 of my best work on here and one of them is for my girl friend Emily I was just wondering if someone could read it and give me a little advise on how to improve in any way?I would be really grateful

You were my love of my life you were my soul mate my best freiand you said you would always be there i belived the words you told me i shared my thoughts with you i.put my trust in you i thought we were for life till the day you walket out my life without a word you left me with my heart broking i never thought i would be the same again or trust again it took years till i did but i will always hold it close to my heart the hurt you put me through x

Left Behind
Here he comes!  
Beautiful....
Her heart beats faster.
She hears his voice
And lets it drip through her awareness
Like warm honey.
She feels sparkles of electricity
As he passes behind her.
Her skin prickles,  
She shivers.
Her softness peaks,  
Her spirits lift....
But only for this frozen instant,  
And they fall as he strides away.
She does not turn around to face him
Because, in the depths of him,  
She senses a deep abiding disinterest.
Oh how she is mistaken...
He walks away
Clenching his fists,  
Inhaling the last of her perfume,  
And thinking only of her.

How sad it is that we are estranged
I expect you find me broken and deranged
How sad it is you are owned by your fear
Searching the world for what is so near
How sad it is our time is the past
Nurture your courage and make it grow fast
How sad it is our ignorance of fate
Souls incomplete and left in this state
How sad it is i was left with no voice
Two beating hearts that must live with your choice

Should I let go

Should I let go
Of my perfectly safe shell
Because I don't really know
Will I fly or drown in an endless well
Will he protect me
Or make me a part of a bigger game
Is there a trick that I don't see
Will he make me hate my life and name
Will he stab me in the back
And lie in my face
My heart will he crack
And make me feel outa place
Should I just be me
And act according to that reckless mind of mine
Should I believe what you say
But iis it you, or just another play

i wrote a poem because i am confused and sad. Im not a writter or a poet. I just needed to vent.

Dawn found me. She smiled ever so light. Soft kisses she blew 'round my room. Whispers age old, 'A new day'. Thoughts of you shimmer and dance within golden shards, To tenderly pierce my dreams in remembrance... The wonder of you Part of my heart.

You are the sun
You bring hope after the darkness of night
Light up my days with new beginnings
Hold me in your rays of warmth
You are the wind
Changeable always
You blow strong and weak
Surprising day to day
You are the rain
I need you to grow
Yet dampen my spirits
Nourishing, devastating
You are the ocean
Mysterious, deep
Tidal is your nature
Endless waves of emotion you bring
You are the tempest
Making me feel alive
Exhilarating, scary
Life on the edge
You are the moon
Waxing and waning
Peaceful, beautiful
A wonder to me
You are the mountains
Formidable, grand
Standing before you
Entranced by your immensity
You are the snow
Softly you fall about
Each part is different
Pure and driven
You are the trees
Shading me from hurts
Shedding again and again
Offering hope anew
You are the flowers
Bright, cheerful
Many colors
Change with the seasons
You are the mystery
Never revealing all
Keeping parts hidden
Holding me spellbound

I don't know if I'll ever see,
The love I have in mind,
The one that last forever,
The one you search a life to find.

A love stronger than steel,
That can pass the test of time,
The love that lasts forever,
And not be dropped on a dime.

The quest has been set forth,
To see if there's a love so true,
One that people only read of,
A love such as me and you!
