Sometime in life we loose ourselves,
To re-discover ourselves,
We loose our way,
So that we come back one day,
That's when we discover,
Who we really are,
Legends of the future,
That's who we are.

I am busy;
that's what they call me - busy
I write for myself, but as they they said, we enjoy it a lot, why you don't share it with others
Writing for 12 years, insights in colloquial.
Whatever you feel, let me know
Remarks were made
Before we were born
We live to hear them
Some say vague Some say surreal
but if they lived my words for seconds
I am done
- - - - - x- - - - - - -
I wanted to see the sky
The wild winters withered the trees
The quakes took down the condo
The rivers turned ice
The clouds went missing
But I was too stoned to say goodbye

I'm Rob from New Zealand and this is my style of writing.
The poets were right.
Articulation dies like the smokers liver.
Romanticism falls when sex we consider.
Now I know the poets were correct.
I sit in my room with thoughts to reflect.
No longer having the urge to steal.
All I want is the right to feel.
Because my heart has found peace.
I found a place to release.
Something so simple like a dove.
Expressing feelings of love.
The poets were correct.
My urges to do wrong are gone.
I hope you enjoy it.

I'm brand new to the site- just signed up yesterday (19 Jan 2013) . I have posted 3 of my poems and look forward to comments, as well as meeting other poets on this site. My work tends to be dark and deal with inner feelings we all have but often are afraid to talk about- those times of intense loneliness, feelings of isolation, of being a number, or just some shadow in the ocean of humanity within which we tend more to drown, than swim.

I have posted a new poem: 'Ballerina'. Please give honest comments.

Hey you guys, I understand that there are a lot of people asking for you to go to their profile and rate/comment on their poems. It may be bothersome continuously seeing these kinds of comments, but it would be greatly appriciated if you would do me the great pleasure of doing so for me. It doesn't take long, it might take 2 minutes out of your day. Thank you for your support and time!

been a while since i'v posted here. so i decided to post something i once wrote. it's a piece about a couple facing a divorce but as the husband looks back on the memories of their relationship he finds it hard to let go and in the poem he is basically thinking out loud as if he was talking to his wife.

I had a dream
The dream full of happiness
The dream about you
We were in green garden
We walked together
My hand in hand you
Your hand in hand me
We were happy
We were free
I had a dream
The dream that I believe it
The dream that I feel it
The dream that I live in it
The dream that I don’t want to wake up
The dream that want to be there for ever
I had a dream
The dream that I have
The dream that I dream every night
The dream that is real for me
The dream that is just a dream
I had a dream
