The wonders of Nature around us every day
The billions of multicoloured wildflowers that bloom in their own natural way
The hum of the nectar gathering honey bees
And the scent of pollen blown out from the blossoming trees.

At the end of the rainbow in fable 'tis told
The Leprechaun he hides his bronze pot of gold
And if you should catch him hold on to him tight
Or he will quickly disappear out of your sight

What does a Bunyip look like i asked Joe
He said i've never seen one would'nt know
But they grow huge or so i have been told
And they live to be hundreds of years old.

In Council Flats live the forgotten people
At the slum end the poorer side of town
They live on welfare like their dads before them
And from where they live a long hike to renown.

Like every life form in this World humans are born to die
And the stories of an afterlife may even be a lie
For not one I know who has passed away to me has come back to tell
Of another life in another World of a heaven or of a hell
...

Paul Robeson was the first great negro singer
Though through his life he knew his share of woe
In his Homeland he was treated as an outcast
But in death his legend seem to grow and grow.

Your ideas of war and war heroes are your own and that's okay with me
But when you tell me war leads to peace with you I can't agree
Bad feelings between people who have been to war for years and years remain
In war as well as the needless loss of life friends you don't ever gain

One only can hope to live good as one can
To be a good woman or be a good man
To learn how to receive you must know how to give
And live by the moral of live and let live
...

Oppressive regimes of the World to violence too inclined
And they punish everybody with the courage to speak their mind
I toast all Governments who allow free speech for that's democracy
Though far from perfect it does seem their citizens are free
...

On the name of humanity great shame it does bring
The usage of children to fight in war is a terrible thing
By some so called patriots in the World of today
The scum of the Earth of them one well might say
