Of the true worth of an individual I'm sure you do not have a clue,
You tell us all people are equal yet people you always compare
And sad to think your type are many and sad to think your type are not rare.

Many people are addictive in some sort of a way
Some drink alcohol to excess every day
Some due to their addiction to narcotics become involved in crime
That culminates in them serving prison time

I recall as a boy my mum said to me son
I will not feel proud of you if you ever harm anyone
Just live as your dad does as an honest hard working man
And anyone in need of helping do help if you can

Though my worth as a rhymer i have reason to doubt
No shortage of things for me to write about
To write rhyme is easy as easy as can be
Anybody can do it you can have that from me

It is a bell that i will not be hearing when it does ring for me the farewell bell
But to those who hear it in it there will be a warning that for them there will be a last farewell
The clock ticks on the years go by so quickly and the funeral bell is ringing every day
But not always for those time has made weary the people by the years left frail and gray

On her 90th birthday on July the 13th for her there will be a party
And Betty Trencher still going strong and she feels hale and hearty
And Anthea, Rachel and Olga will be there and perhaps John and Peter
For to sing her happy birthday and to toast her and to fete her.

For it's beauty and hospitable people it has won renown
But perhaps 'tis Australia's breeziest Town
Where the rivers Merri and Hopkins into the ocean flow
The freshening winds often in Warrnambool blow

On the shallow waters of Lake Pertobe waders and water birds abound
The white royal spoonbill with dark legs and long spoon like bill is often seen shuffling around

Doctor differ and patients die
In some cases not a lie
The side effects of prescribed drugs known to make people ill
And in some cases even kill.
