Not as big a bird as the emu but a big bird just the same
Dark feathered with a bony sort of a helmet cassowary is it's name
Flightless like the emu but having said that far more rare
In the rain forest and through thick scrub it can run fast as a hare

In the World are Millions if not billions of Judgemental people judgemental people never have been rare
Of judge not and thou shalt not be judged it does seem their type of people never are aware
They even pass judgement on total strangers so arrogant to them ignorance is bliss
Live and let live to them does not hold meaning the point in the fair go they do seem to miss
...

With words I put to paper and words that I say
I hope I don't cause offence in any way
And since some feel offended by some others truth
In our usage of words we should not lack in ruth.

The little rufous fantail with his tail feathers fanned out
He seldom ever takes a rest he likes to fly about
He's ever chasing bees and flies from dawn till dark of day
And flitting in and out of trees just like his cousin 'gray'

The poachers only shoot them for their horn
And they even kill the young and newly born
And their numbers in the wild State only few
And their last hope of survival now the zoo.

A mother does not raise her child for to fight and die in war
Or to kill another Human Being in a Country from home far
That her son or her daughter should at someone else shoot to kill
A person they have never known or who have never bore them ill.

The great white waves of the Pacific how loudly they do roar
And crash against the volcanic rocks that guard the ocean shore
The silver gulls above the beach are calling as they fly
And the terns dive in shallow waters for small sea things from the sky,

On the flesh of smaller forms of wildlife the eagle she does fill her craw
A predator of Nature's wild kingdom and Nature lives by her own law
And the predators of Nature's wild kingdom they have to kill to stay alive
It is called the survival of the fittest where only the fittest survive.
