Yesterday's losers are resigned to their disappointment's fate
Whilst the happy winners does celebrate
But everything passes and only memories does last
Of the happy and sad times when you remember the past

The power to do good can only come from within
And to be kind to others is never a sin
Of more kind and compassionate people humanity is in need
For a better World to live in they help plant the seed

That life is a journey only true to say
A journey for everyone that ends some night or day
And even the strongest and fittest in their physical prime
Eventually will become victims of time

In Illowa it is a beautiful day
The sun it is shining in a sky blue and gray
On the first of October near the prime of the Spring
The wild birds of Nature chirp, whistle and sing
...

Far south of Claraghatlea west of Millstreet Town
Where old Clara Mountain forever looks down
On Duhallow and Sliabh Luachra's green countryside
Of the Cork Kerry border that stretch far and wide
...

The praises of successful people the masses may sing
But success in itslfelf is a relative thingelf
To each individual since not all will agree
Who is worthy to be looked on as one more than others as one of superiority
...

Our wonder of Nature seems to grow and grow
And the more we learn of her the more we come to know
That of her we know little this not a surprise
Though knowledge on anyone never a burden from the mouth of the wise
...

Ben for what used to be he has shed his last tears
And he has not been to his hometown for decades of years
But he likes to recall his younger years of the past
And only the memories of what was does last
...

Lucky are those without designs on fame
Who never wish theirs would become a great name
In words or deeds they never drag anyone down
And live their quiet lives on their side of the town
...

The sun shining bright in a sky blue and gray
How good to be living on such a nice day
