I've known poorly educated people for to be very wise
For knowledge through college education and wisdom are different as can be
Just as chalk from cheese is different or so 'twould seem to me

And in golf he is the one who does take pride of place

My Country will live on for centuries of years.

Though the pauper and billionaire breathe the same air
You don't have to tell me life's not always fair
And though here's to those who promote equality
What they hope for they may never live to see

In old Claraghatlea when I was a young boy
Walks in the old fields I used to enjoy
And Summer evenings out hunting in Pomeroy's bog
With Pudsy our dark brown hairy cattle dog

The mother of Marie, Catherine and James she lived in Claraghatlea most of her life
A good mother to her children and to the late Matt a good wife
Kind hearted Hanna Sullivan from life may well be gone
But she left us with good memories of her and her spirit will live on.

They are Nature's natural survivors though they seem so dainty and small
And they bloom in all Seasons and weather In Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall
With yellow hearts and snow white petals the wildflowers everybody does know
Even on the coldest days of Winter they bloom in the shade by hedgerow

Slender and tall with long blond hair she has turned twenty three
