Stains

There is a place where no barriers hold
Free to roam
To sing
Our song

Gone is the life
Of shadows and fear
Open to us
a canvas clear

To rewrite this script
of horror and despair
for we can only
try

But in our home
the darkness reigns
and hearts are crushed
but hope remains

Dreams destroyed
with a single word
but faith still shines
in the everlasting night
a tune very bold
a light very bright

We will sing in unison
we will act with love
we will keep on dancing
while hope remains
