Afresh my motion has to begin.
Again my wings of toil have to flap;
A tinker's task to reshape my heart benign
To quench the gaping chasm and fill the gap;
...

Leave alone that one you saw,
I have more beneath the hidden veneer;
Care not about what you heard
And mind not that's near,
...

I'm him about whom long tales are wound;
The young chap who wears faded blue
And whose fame has ruled every musical sound;
The blessed youth of a righteous walk.
...

My political bid here begins
Without a coin and with want of dime,
And not a listening of name;
A wave against the wind of time
...

The ladders by which I shall soar
And the uncoursed peaks I must tour,
Are set before my gaze;
A complex and a baffling maze.
...

I'm happy to have found the way;
I'm joyful for it's born the day
In which all jubilation is mine
And its attached to the truest vine
...

My choice is of the queerest cadre:

A taste for appetites odd and no blot of ado,
...

A great brain to be ever remembered

As long as history is;
...

I shall climb the steep steps
And bridge those yawning gaps
Till they connect the broken tendons of luck,
And unite the copious gifts of Providence;
...

This is the resolve that the march must continue
And that the zeal to move shall ever be new.

This is the indefectible pursuit by this diligent walker,
