A privilege for the hardworking,
Unsuitable for idlers and loafers;
A good respite from taxing toils

Give me love and demand whatever you may,
Give me yourself and ask for all;
I'll give whatever you ask.

Wisdom and understanding do raise their voice
On the stands beside the paths they yell that you make a choice;
At the gates of bazaars both do cry hoarse and loud,
And wonder how orderly the world would be if all fools vowed
...

Success comes not to the gallant fighters alone
But also to men who suppress their temerity;
No one has ever had the patent to prosperity,
It's for them that endeavor and try,
...

One by one I mean to clinch the crown;
A verse in the morning and a verse in the evening
Till the prize of renown I own,
Will be my business on earth.

Goodbye my beloved girl,
Bound by love I feel my head whirl;
Goodbye my beloved country
Where I murdered all and sundry;

You ask whether it's me,
And for the zillionth time I reply
'' Yes, its me ' with a zestful smile;
We need not say die
