The Poor Humanity!

O’ my dears,
Green grasses grasp the sunlight,
To have Osiris* rebirth,
Sophocles plays his flute, to make cry the sky
Horas* gives the sounds of the rain,
As grows the bloody pain
The poor humanity!

Come here and sit with me,
Till the river flows from the dead mountains.
As, Ravan* never dares
Ulysses to face death;
But Halen fled away
Where there is no Faith
The poor humanity!

I will sing song of the Bondye* nations
Walking on thousands of deaths
And they win.
Today’s Tirasiouses fear to warn them
And their paid choruses sing for them.
The poor humanity!
