Rock formations of every hue,
A rugged canyon, a special view,
From desert floor to jagged peaks,
A panorama of color, so unique.

Tourists fill our town,
When snow and ice,
Cover the ground,
In other parts of the USA.

Death Valley

Rock formations of every hue,
A rugged canyon, a special view,
From desert floor to jagged peaks,
A panorama of color, so unique.
Volcanic deposits of pink, yellow and red,
With purple, gray and green,
The brush of color can be seen.
Snow capped mountains rising high,
Picturesque against the sky.
This great Mojave desert land.
Of colors, shapes and blowing sand,
Another work of nature's hand.
A place to preserve, for all to see.
A treasure of this great country.
