My knife.

With tears like the falling rain,
She grabs it,
But a thing she won't say
As she draws it across her skin.

Slicing her wrists
To see the lines turn and twist.
Changed to a smile from a frown
As the blood drips down.

Another restless night,
Another troubled sleep,
Where I'm never right
No matter how loud I'm screaming.
