Holocaust Perspective

Dear God, I do not understand
why?
Why did all these people have to die so violently?
We experience things that are not on the same level as what Jews went through
Going up in front of a class to present
is nothing to be nervous
Going to a chamber of fire and hearing all the cries of the dying
is something to be nervous about

Doing something bad and feel scared
is nothing to be scared about
Having a handgun pointed right between your eyes
is something to be scared about

Standing up to a person in school
is not brave or courageous
Standing up to a army that hate you
is extremely brave and courageous

Not eating for a day
is not really being starved to death
Not eating for a whole week
is seriously being starved

So look at how your life is blissful
and accept what is giving to you
Jews are strong, brave, and courageous
I will always remember you
