Best Poem of Joseph Narusiewicz

I Want To Kiss You

Your benign apathy is too heavy
You pretend you have all you need
Come down a notch babes
Come down and I will hold you
Garments of steel get so lonely
You think your body can hold love?
It is the heart and soul
It is the flowers of art
The beauty of the sea
Time tracing noble graves
Gardens where morning doves fly

I want to hold you
I want to kiss you

We Meet

She comes with ribbons and mystery
Stars shine like future flowers
The simple things of life shall be
Refreshed again with gentle hours

Sometimes change comes with quiet
Rest and dreams like moonlight
Her hand with me in the twilight
Poetry is a branch to the bird in flight

We meet by a meadow of life
