you are a fountain
that I must drink deeply from....
without you... I would surely wilt
like nature without the sun...
...

the sun shine so bright
it surrounded my heart
with its warm glow....
warming even the coldest part of me
...

I have been too long from you...
I no longer taste you on my lips...
nor feel the coolness of your touch....
or the smell of you on my skin....
...

the scent of candles...
shadows on the wall...
fireplace is roaring...
our spirits soaring...
...

of the waves as they crawl to
the shore calm me....
but not as much as you
my love....
...

embraces me through these hot
emotional nites
your voice warms the coldest part
of me keeping me safe
...

in the darkness..I sense you near
when I am afraid.....
or perhaps a habit
knowing you would be
...

oh cupid of love
heal my broken heart
I let someone use it and
they tore it all apart!
...

when darkness comes to
greet me
when the nite becomes
cool and lite
...

shadows of dancers
around a fire aglow
glimpces of figures, medicine man
wolf and buffalo.....
