I'm fallen in love with this righteous tree
Outside my window I can see
him dancing all day and during the night
He shows me gently his lightness and might
...
You're clear and sincere
Merely you fear
To hurt and disturb
With your deep honest word
...
The cradle
of liberty, equality, fraternity
again has earned
tragedy, brutality, barbarity
...
We had a lot of mighty rulers
And many loosers too
We saw a host of warmongers
But seldom men like me and you
...
There are thirteen reasons why
to live your life and fly
to step into teenager's world
which is quite new and sometimes swirled
...
One country, celebration
many cultures, communication
What a force and big power
global light and a tower
...
Once in your life
You get such a choice
To win a good wife
To make a good noise
...
The bowl is singing
Everybody sinks inside
What a noise makes this gnat!
...
The old ones found a notable key:
you can look at the whole world as a tree
No doubt, we are all one, top-down
one root, one stern and only one crown
...
The gate is in front of us
but nobody, who opens
nobody, who gives me a key
...
What is the biggest treasure, you can find?
A young man left all things behind
He travelled north and searched for gold
He travelled west and people told:
...
Sometimes you have to take one step back
in order to progress
At times you will fail
...

Love Song
I'm fallen in love with this righteous tree
Outside my window I can see
him dancing all day and during the night
He shows me gently his lightness and might
His branches sway in soft vibration
In my soul I feel an amalgamation
with you
I'm glad
and grateful
- and this is true -
that I can sway
and dance
and melt
with you
If you love somebody, you think and wish and want his best.
Sometimes you have to step back in order to progress.
Some defeats you only can throw into the future.
Hi Jürgen, I would love to read some German poems of yours. Thanks for sharing, Paul
