they call out or names
they interwtine them in one another
and they make them float above the noise and pain

Terror and sorrow
pain and dispare
they are what people see
when the mask isn't there

When the days grow longer
and the shadows seem to linger
the memories will reveal a sense of anguish
foreign to your train of thought

The wrinkles in your hands
they fit so neatly into my creases
they make my hands feel young again
like they used to be so long ago
...

The world is a cold place
When everyone sees things in black and white
The colors
They haven’t a chance to blend

Does the sun shine
only as you open your eyes
does the moon beam
only as time flys by

I was a princess
on the bed with the pea
