My First Broken Heart

If i knew it would hurt this much
To have a broken heart
I'd never have fallen inlove
I'd have stopped it before it could start
Actually i had no control
It just happened to me
I fell so madly inlove with him
But that he could not see
He went and broke my heart
And thought nothing there of
After he promised me the world
After he promised me his love
He thought that i would crumble
He thought i would break down
But i showed him i don't need him
I showed him i'm fine with him not around
I thought i'd never love again
But i fell inlove once more
And got my heart broken many more times
But i didn't walk out the door
I went on loving
For much much longer
Because no, it didn't kill me
but yes, it made me stronger.
