Guilt can be a powerful feeling
It eats at you day and night
Guilt shoves at your breaking point, till you are screaming
...
Admiring some special person
From beginning to end.
Wishing they were yours
Yet they belong to another.
...
I don’t want to cry, but I have to cry
I don’t want to laugh, but I have to laugh
I don’t want to love, but I have to love

Powerful Guilt
Guilt can be a powerful feeling
It eats at you day and night
Guilt shoves at your breaking point, till you are screaming
Hanging on the edge of a skyscraper with all your might
Fingertips slipping, the feeling of quitting
But then where is that fight?
Fighting to not feel guilty but to be happy.
Guilt is a disgusting, dictating, deriving stench
Waiting to take over singing a soulful rhapsody.
Guilt's razor, sharp teeth are tearing at my flesh
Leaving gaping wounds that forever bleed at my feet
Dripping, staining the already black clothes making a mess
As a last resort we have to leap!
Damn you, not to my fiery death
Only to creep
Creeping along to find such a bright light
Leading, forever leading
You along, to not feel the monstrous guilt's bite.
