Fire

Like stars on gloomy night...
Its red flames sparkle brightly, within the blackness of the night sky.
Like a cheetah at its prey,
It quietly burns away, eating up anything in its way.

With the power of a snake's bite and the fierceness of a jaguar,
It is able to destroy buildings and entire cities from just one ignition.
But despite how fierce it is,
Like a mother to its cub,
It is very protective of others being their saviour which protects them from the worst.
Stopping any harm from affecting them and their loved ones.

With eyes of a tiger,
And the heart of a lover,
Each beat is a motor which is always working
Releasing warmth and love towards others,
While cursing the ones that it hates.

As a tool,
Or as a light,
Whenever dark, the fire will shine bright.
But when it dies, ashes it will turn into.

Sizzling slowly, as the blackness swallows the flames.
Swallowing till there's nothing, but the last coal is burning.
