what started on fast-forward has turned around on rewind,
now I get it because I am no longer blind.

What I thought was a new love nearing a end,
this was just 'his way' of mastering me as his friend,
I don't mind, yet it is a very peculiar trend.

Sure money can buy a car, a house, or even an expensive blouse,
can money buy true happiness?

How does everything seem so right, go so wrong,

why does something seem so short, take so long.

I now see I won't be getting what I want or what I need,
it doesn't matter how much I could plead,
again my heart continues to beat,
carring out a senseless greed to bleed.

My mind and soul states that using is abusing,
I am now feeling that you have been
using and abusing my friendship
though the sad part is my loving heart is now losing.

It's amazing how this up and coming love
makes my heart feel,
closing my eyes, I can see your disputed sex appeal,
I didn't have to work hard to impress,
