Some say he wears a cloak of black.
Some say he holds a shaft of death.
Some say he comes for the old, the weak,
the young and those that don't believe.

As the fragments of my brain
slowly swells to burst into the
rainbows of my weary mind. The
soul of my inner self explodes

Don't try to run,
don't try to hide,
look all around,
God is on every side.

Angel Of Death

Some say he wears a cloak of black.
Some say he holds a shaft of death.
Some say he comes for the old, the weak,
the young and those that don't believe.
But all of this just isn't so..
For the Angle of Death is a friend of mine.

Some are scared and frightened to death.
Some try to run and hide from him.
Some try to deny that he exist.
But they all have been lied to and are misled.
For the Angle of Death is a friend of mine.

For the cloak of black they might see
is to hide the sight they shouldn't see.
The shaft is to guide the way for those who have
been granted to walk heavens way
So don't be frightened, don't run away,
for the Angel of Death is a friend of mine.

He has a soothing way, a gentle touch.
He's caring and loving, and one to trust.
For he'll guide you home to heaven above.
For the Angel of Death is a friend of mine.

So if he comes calling for you one night.
don't be frightened, don't turn away
Don't try to hide or run away
For the Angel of Death is a friend of mine.

Don't look at him in fear or rapped of black.
But open your eyes and see his light.
Carrying a longstem rose, he's dressed of white.
He's doing God's will, he's one who cares.
He'll guide you home to heaven above.
For the Angel of Death is a friend of mine.
