Tonight we're going to spend the night
In my garden..... just you and me,
We'll sit on the bench and count the stars....
A kiss for each one we see
...

Days grow longer, solstice is nigh,
Nature's rehearsing her part;
But a bitter cold hangs over me,
It's still winter in my heart
...

A seed of love that never found
The hallowed path to fertile ground,
The fruitless trees, the orchard, bare,
A pain not seen, but it is there
...

Someone knows when your day goes awry
And memories are too sad to keep,
Someone wanders through your dreams at night
To wash away the day while you sleep
...

Love is the Beauty that overtakes
Our every sense of being alive,
The dew of Heaven that nourishes
Each new dream, enabling it to thrive
...

My tears greet each unwelcome day,
Blinding me to the sun's first ray,
Dreams long dead lie in slow decay,
Hopelessness binds my heart like a glove,
...

Little things no longer cause despair,
Though my daily vexations be rife;
Let the wind ruffle and muss my hair,
Rain on my parade -see if I care!
...

When the sun yawns its last farewell,
Lonely hearts plot their rendezvous;
Stay on the path that our dreams have blazed,
When darkness falls, I'll come to you
...

Soon the sun will set in this valley
Where I've roamed for many a year,
So many questions left unanswered,
So many answers remain unclear;
