I love the rain, too, Brittany. It allows me a chance to feel free, almost washes away the pain, sorrow. Love the poem. I am ever so sorry the poem brings to mind your mom. I am 100% convinced my daughter would say and feel the same. In fact, its for her...I wrote it from her perspective while I tried to understand why she feels as she does and why its difficult to believe otherwise; But Brittany, I can guarantee you, your mom may have made a million mistakes, but she loves you. I love my daughter. And I've spent close to a year now working on becoming the kind of mother she deserves in the hopes that one day she will reach back when I reach to her.
Absolutely beautiful! You know just how meaningful the 'krishna and Radha' story is and that I cannot wait for the next installment. Don't think I'll forget that you mentioned awhile back you had many already penned!
I feel so bonded to these poems and to Krishna and Radha. Every night star, that is named shines and glitters, senses overwhelm, overflow, completely fill such that my cup runneth over like the night's rain in the emerald greens of a forest. Bravo! 'In search of my only truth - YOU', my favorite line in this poem!
You took my breath away! ! Absolutely beautiful! Those words are ones I could imagine my lover expressing to me. You touched me so much that I held back tears as my heartbeat increased.
You move me. Thank you
