I may be wrong but I think I get the metaphor. I read this poem to be about the women who date younger men, now called cougars. If I am wrong about the metaphor, I still think it is a good poem and excellently written.

  • POEM: Disappointment by Gary Witt (12/24/2009 12:02:00 AM)

Astonishing imagery and meaning. Well worth the multiples readings I gave it in order to sink in. August tired... you really coined a phrase with that one. When you become famous I am sure it will catch on. Good one Gary.

  • POEM: Chang Rai by Alexandra Reiss (12/22/2009 12:39:00 AM)

Well conceived execution of your imagination. Your detailed imagery brought the poem to life. I don't know what your inspiration was for this, but you made it feel real. Very impressive.

I have never heard of a dominant X in mathematics. I would stay with the chromosome theory.

I'm sorry. I don't understand. Whose golden years?
