Some go to church and life is fine
They treat their neighbours well
They eat the bread they drink the wine
Still on the road to hell
...
Who hears the heart and soul of man
Who sees what each contains
Who knows what night and day we plan
What time for us remains
...
Though lame I sit within my chair
With pain in bed I lie
Through Jesus love and tender care
I’ve ceased to wonder why
...
“I’m often asked if God I blame
If for my birth I curse
But most who ask still walk in shame
And that is far much worse
...
The days grow ever shorter now
Our season’s passing by
Our wayward souls to Christ should bow
Before the day we die
...
When feeling down and all alone
When plagued with deep despair
At this you moan and that you groan
Does no one even care?
...
A rustling wind blew up one day
From Garbage on the street
“To endless life, just walk this way
And sit at Jesus feet”
...
In secular things I felt so smart
To things of God a fool
But life saw change when in the heart
Heaven began to rule
...
Holiness is my prime desire
Heaven’s my major goal
Safe and sound in my Saviour’s Fire
And through His blood found whole
...
Surprising though who think they’re right
Who think, they’ve found the way
Who think God’s filled their hearts with light
To show who’ve gone astray
...
