simmering under stormy skies;

all dissheveled within - though the outer appearance
quite proper seems and trim to the casualest of glances.

perhaps it's just the thought of her,
a curiosity.
perhaps a premonition,
recognition of a need.

suffice to say
it only was
a momentary thought brought on
by soft cicadas tatting
...

inchoate imaginings mesmerize,
deluding both logic and thought.
