A children's book was left open, where she used to lay.
The cobwebs float away.

She sang to me of hopeless dreams and how her nightmares came to life.
She drank away her ambitions with wet whiskey and red wine.
She gave her life to god, saying it was his to define,
but can we bare to hear his words?

On a frostbitten autumn day,
where lifeless leaves laid near feet.
Where two pairs of lonely eyes did meet.
Not a word, no one heard, just a glance.

Neon red lace the horizon,
the sun rests there.

My lips on your earlobe,

Just take this slow, Don't lead me on.
Give this time to grow, Couldn't be so wrong.
I've seen the signs, a moth lands on the screen.
I'm no longer blind, but you don't know what I mean.
