Unfinished Failure

Everything I say and do somehow comes back to haunt me
The walls close in, my chest grows tight
The Silence all around me.
And with every gasping breath I pray and I cry out
to a force I do not know
In this Silence that surrounds me.
All my work must be in vain
for nothing seems to change me
the world will die, and i won't cry
this Silent burning agony.
My eyes cry blood as the Mourning Sun
rises yet to cheat me
the happy thoughts I once called friend
now fuel my silent screaming.
No one knows of my secret pain
not I, nor him, nor her
only the pen remains my friend
as Silence soon consumes me.
My life a joy, my thinks as Hell
as storm clouds brew in my heart
with growing defiance but lack of will
I lose myself to the Silence...

But I break free after dieing to the Silent foe
he lets me free and I now see
that truth and goodness flow.
My soul sees light, my life set right
the storm clouds disappearing.
I lost it all through rise then fall
but now my eyes start seeing
the world of light, my will to fight
burns once again within me.

The Silent stalker that I call foe
hunts me both day and night
the blinded fools who scream inside
they fear but dont know why
with glazed eyes and dead insides
the monotony knows my seething.

He is dangerous, he must die!
He steals your money, he kills your kids
You must healthily fear him.

Hide I must with watchful eye
always glance behind me
patrols by night, traitors by day
welcome to Armaggedon...

Slowly surely people awake
and see the Mourning Sun
find their way to the land of light
disciples begin to follow me.
They are dangerous beyond compare
traitors to the state!
And public enemy #1 is the corruption in their heads.

the fear it brings, the energy
that soon shall be re-routing...

Today we got him, he's going to die
by form of lethal injection
At 1&: 00 he will die
be sure that you are watching...

Day 47 of the revolt, he still is much at large
his band of friends caused more trouble
than we could ever comprehend.
Tens of thousands lined the streets
the patrols were over run.
They tried to pull back but the attack
scorched them like the blazing sun.
We can't hold out much longer...

Welcome to the new world order
where the streets are paved with blood
How did I not see it coming
Am I only a fool?
I thoughtthe world would be a better place I am all that's left...
