God's Child

Crimson tears trickle like rivers,
Eroding away at my spirit.
Silent screams rip my veins,
Bursting my blackened heart.

Iron bars sealed shut,
A private hell waits beyond.
Nazi's control us like puppeteers,
Tugging at the strings of our lives.

I have no real name now,
Only blue numbers etched in my raw skin.
Only a single animal,
In a herd of the unwanted.

God's children have been neglected,
Incinerated in uncontrollable flames
Degraded for minuscule rations.
God's children have been murdered,
Strangled at the hands of demons,
Happy to handle the devils deeds.
If I am god's child, I ask,
Why have I been hurt so?
The beautiful yellow stars whisper,
‘Only to make your faith stronger'.
