Deforestation

With every life a leaf falls,
forming an indestructible wall
Oxygen is fathomed into the air,
as the forest tries to repair

Exhausted from the situation,
trees exclaim of their past history
Rings around a rosy, pocket full of
daisies, ashes, ashes we are all chopped down

Exclaims the little elf, who helpfully
woes his predecessor with an extraordinary show
Laughter from deep inside the woods fills
the treacherous wolves with agony and despair

Their misery brings a defeat one filled
with raw, tainted meat
To seat the men of wood, the forest
beckons to be understood

I can't withstand this assault, let me
begin with an insult,
'You wretched things, tortured wings
are not repairable, so try and make us sustainable'
