Paige Allison Poems

Everything we did,
It was so faceless.
Everything we tried,
It was so tasteless.
...

Every word out of his mouth
Are like the beautiful thoughts
I've been dying to write.
Each smile on his face
...

He blamed it on the pheromones,
And the way she stared.
He blamed it on the way she talked,
And how she noticed he was there.
...

I've tried to explain,
Tried to conclude,
What goes through my head,
The secrets hidden in waves of blue.

Paige Allison Biography

Hello, My name's Paige. I'm fifteen. I've been writing since I was eleven or twelve. My poetry is completely different than my personality. I don't show people I know my poetry or lyrics because they're mostly about things that I don't want people knowing I think or feel. So, In a way it's an escape. But that's what everybody says, huh? I'm fun, and will try anything once. I have huge dreams, Things people would only dream about. I always want to improve on anything and everything, I need constructive criticism. Please give me your opinions! Thanks so much.(:)

Meaningless

Everything we did,
It was so faceless.
Everything we tried,
It was so tasteless.
Now I'm asking myself if it's worth remembering,
As you start to ramble about how I've been changing.
We both know that something's been misplaced.
I can look at you and not even recognize your face.
Lately it's been going downhill.
It's all my fault,
You feel the need to yell.

I'm just trying to fix it,
Make you forget it.
How can I get better if I'm at my best?
Tell me how we went from being careless,
To you saying you could care less?
I feel as if I missed something here.
One second we were shining
Now we're burning our way through the atmosphere.
Heading to our way to the ground,
Everthing we hear,
Doesn't have a sound.
I'm going through my list of what if's,
Because everything we're saying is just so meaningless.
