Patricia May Poems

Swaying trees and screeching owls.
Wiping winds and chilling howls.
Deafning screams and eary sounds.
Shadows appear without any source.
...

I grab in the dark,
with the fear of my own pain,
brought on by a child hood past,
screaming aloud,
...

Did I ever tell you
just how special you are to me!
The light that you emit,
might even light a star!

Hell Bound

Swaying trees and screeching owls.
Wiping winds and chilling howls.
Deafning screams and eary sounds.
Shadows appear without any source.
I know he's coming his footsteps pound.
I'm hell bound.

No reason to scream,
no one listening any way.
In my head i hope it's just a dream,
that I'll live to see another day.
I'm hell bound.

Now my heart is racing,
no time to run.
One small turn,
now all is done.
I'm hell bound.

I scream into the darkness,
hoping this is not it.
Now I have come to see
the hell that binds is me.
