I Wish

I wish I wish upon a star
I wish I wish my dreams weren't far

See-you are my dreams
And I'm yours it seems
Youre the apple in my eye that gleams
And my missing piece from a God who deems 

See our love is like a red, red rose 
For in our love I see only prose
Our bond is a type that God only knows
And forever I'm yours till my eyes finally close

But once they're closed I see you again
I'm in paradise, where there's love but no sin
I look down as you take up your pen
To send my body to rest again
Its the last you'll see of my love drenched skin
Until you chase me-to Gods palace, where you'll  be kindly welcomed in

Oh please chase me, my everlasting love
Please follow me-way up above
I'll send to you-a lonely turtle dove
That will comfort you, my one, true love

But I wake up and there you are 
I realize my dreams aren't  far
-And I finally see what happens 
-when I wish upon a star
