There is no more to do or say
Except I've lost you anyway
What point is there for trying any more
Let's just go our separate ways as we know the score
...

Here I am alone in space orbiting the earth
There were others once but they are gone for what it's worth
For when we left there was peace of earth for many
But war turned up again like a bad penny
...

I sit and listen for it again
Whilst I contemplate my memories of then
Slowly going through my part
And forever to repeat the start
...

Each scar had a story to be told
For each time when he had been bold
For time healed the open wounds made
And scars were left as a memento of the escapade
...

I heard that you were broken
When I left you and your world was smitten
You did not want me to leave you
And you are now alone to weep too
...

Each day there is something new
To live to say or to do
That makes you who you are
As you wonder at it all from afar
...

I had a wanderlust unfettered
That ate at me unmetered
As I sat and looked over the plain
And I knew it would remain
...

A cool sea breeze across the bay
Holding hand as the sea comes in our way
Sunrises and sunsets in pastel colours
Talking and laughing like no others
...

It's the old stories I know well
Remembering the characters On whom I dwell
Sitting down and lookin west
At sundown is what I love best
...

Would you stand again
Gathering your strength when
You heard the calling in your head
And evil holds sway instead
...
