What do you think this poem is about?

A CHILD'S CHRISTMAS

(A child's joy fills the heart with wonder)

Socks hanging
from brass
bedsteads
the aroma
of a mother's pudding

A turkey
defrocked by father
stuffed with bread
crumbs and sage

Parcels
tattooed with robins
beneath a scattering
of pine needles

The sense
of mystery
snow falling
a holy silence

In a child's christmas
long years ago
