apologize

i twist and turn in bed at night.
thinking
of what to say.
i realize that same day that when i am ready,
i will know what to say.

if i apologize when i do not mean it,
is it really an apologee?
or am i just tricking that one person on the reciving end.
they may think i'm sorry,
but i know i'm really not.
and when my time comes to say....i will turn and walk away.
