Backstage

Save me.. I've fallen in too deep

Leave me.. I need the high I reap

Crash into me.. On this lonely street

Get me high and watch me die- I will not claim defeat.

An excellent poem-'Get me high, watch me die' well that could be a high on cocaine, crack, heroine etc. etc. etc. Now (Get me high, watch me live) would definitely be a high on God. Yes one should get high on God, that's the only high that matters and it feel sooooo good. Yes that's it, get high on God. Try it, you'll love it. When the spirit takes you over, there is nothing that could come even close to that. I know, its haplpend to me several times and I love it. It's an unbelievable high.

Damn. Short and right in the pocket. I think Miles Davis would have liked this poem just as much as I do, but there is no way that he could have liked it any more. Sometime the backstage isn't the back stage at all though and thats when you find me smoking in the boys room.: -)
