Bruce Lee, King of Kung Fu (*Elegy on His 40th Death Anniversary)

Oh... glorious Bruce Lee,
The everlasting King of Kung Fu

You're the best we all could see,
The great Master of Jeet Kune Do (1)

Oh... glorious Bruce Lee,
The eternal hero of Martial Arts

From your horrible might enemies flee
You've got the love of all hearts

Oh... glorious Bruce Lee,
The skilled warrior with the Nunchaku (2)

How could a fighter like you be? ! ! !
It's so dazzling what you do

Oh... glorious Bruce Lee,
The striking fighter with the iron fist

So cruel to us was your destiny
With your death too much we've missed

Oh... glorious Bruce Lee,
Your blows, kicks, moves and shouts

Were so stunning for everyone to see
A magnificent hero you are.. certainly no doubt

With shock, tears and sorrow
We receive today your death anniversary

In your fighting steps we shall follow
Your art will respect even your adversary

Oh... glorious Bruce Lee,
Unforgettable King of Kung Fu

In our hearts your memory will always be
In our spirits for sure you will live too

Oh... glorious Bruce Lee,
The eternal King of Kung Fu

Like you definitely there will never be
With your wise philosophy we'll always remember you

Oh... glorious Bruce Lee,
The unique Master of Jeet Kune Do

In our minds will stay your memory
We will never ever forget you

Poem of the Day

poet Emily Jane Brontë

I am the only being whose doom
No tongue would ask no eye would mourn
I never caused a thought of gloom
A smile of joy since I was born

In secret pleasure - secret tears
