Cocoon

An opaque grotto
Clasped to a mulberry tendril
In the placid tone
Of virgin limestone
An orb entwined in empyrean filaments
The casing of pupa
In her own unique tapestry
Woven by nature's unrivaled architect
The mystical silk moth
As the orbital of a divine spindle
Bequeaths on humans
Legendary strands
Of Assamese silk

Save in a concentrated flame;
And thus, in friendships, who depend
On more than one, find not one friend.
