Drag Me To My Destiny

Your smiles sends a dagger to my achy chest
I catch a breather between every text
I can almost hear you whisper in my head
I'm longing for your arms but I'm in this cold night instead
The old hail is hitting in the house right next to me

I got your kisses saved on my phone
When I hear your voice I go numb to the bone
You have the most addictive taste I've ever known
The Sahara dessert heat sweats when you're around
I'm shivered though, falling to the ground
I'm lost, I'm so damn lost in your eyes, I said
Oh, please say that your mine again..

You're dragging me to my destiny
Bringing along all the happy that's meant for me
She's my meant to be
Everything I'm meant to see
Love, please let it be...

Poem of the Day

poet Dante Gabriel Rossetti

Young Love lies sleeping
In May-time of the year,
Among the lilies,
Lapped in the tender light:
White lambs come grazing,
White doves come building there:
